Yes, those are great. I was just there this weekend with my parents and fiancee who hadn't seen it before. They were blown away, and we also enjoyed the museum (I'd seen the shrine room, but not the museum. Amazing that this is all free yet you have the place to yourself unless there's a tour group.
It's a travesty how under-utilized that memorial is. The couple times I've gone in the upper room, I've been completely alone. I like to just sit and look around at everything -- it's such an impressive, peaceful room.

Yep. It's my favorite building in town. Fortunately, I don't think we need to worry that it will go away anytime soon even though it seems to be ignored. In fact, it would seem strange to go up to the shrine room and find other people there.
There are doors directly to the outside in the Shrine Room but they're always locked shut, right? I wonder if they opened them from time to time if they'd get more traffic in there. At the very least, some fresh air couldn't hurt!
These shots are gorgeous. We are ashamed to admit that we don't think we have ever been on the inside- we had no idea.
